| If someone calls out 'is there a doctor in the house' at Savannah's, the answer will be a resounding 'Yes!' True to their name, The Swing Docs know how to dance all night and doctor all day. The 20-piece band started as an e-mail memo sent around Albany Medical Center -- 'Does anyone play an instrument and like Big Band music?' Since then the group has grown to include Realtors, retired teachers, state employees and psychologists, all of whom put their ties back on at night to play the tunes of both Benny Goodman and Brian Setzer. |
