Sustainable Thanksgiving Celebrations Sunday, November 11th, 11 am-6 pm The Honest Weight Food Co-Op, 484 Cebtral Avenue Albany, NY Shannon Hayes from Sap Bush Hollow farm in Warnerville, NY, and author of The Farmer and the Grill and The Grassfed Gourmet, will offer free samples of grass fed, pasture raised, grilled meats. Meanwhile, we will smoke a Sap Bush Hollow turkey, and offer samples with a delectable house-made cranberry chutney between 2 and 4 pm. The smoking demo lasts all day: feel free to stop by for instruction or tips on smoking or grilling. |
